The Men's Fraternity began a BBQ team in 2018 to be able to provide fellowship with men in the group as well as to be able to use this as a way to share the gospel with those men in the BBQ world who do not know Christ.
With the first competition sponsored by Hope Church, the team won FIRST PLACE in Seafood and Poultry. The team then competed in several other "cooks" and were able to do well and to place in some categories.
The team is open to ANY man who would like to be a part of a fun group that enjoys fellowship AND some good BBQ. You do not have to know anything about BBQ, but you do have to have a desire to have fun, be able to learn from our veteran BBQ team leader Randy, and finally have a heart to be ready to "give account for the hope that is within you."
